While the new driver is installing it is very common for the screen to go to black and re-appear.You will now be greeted with a progress window.Unless desired otherwise, we recommend what is set to default by AMD. Here you will be able to select what parts of the driver you wish to have installed.Now that the location has been selected, hit Upgrade once again.This window allows you to choose the location of the installer. After selecting Upgrade a new window will appear.Click Upgrade to continue to the next window. At the bottom you can choose to have AMD Radeon Settings automatically download latest drivers. In order to update, AMD Radeon Settings will need to exit in order to proceed to installer.
Click the dropdown and select Update Now.If there are any available, it will state "New Radeon Software updates are available." From here we can see if there are updates available.
Click on Updates in the bottom left corner.
